Cobbler, stick to your last
Settled it is: I have migrated my microblog from my own Rails-based engine over to Tumblr. Well as my baby has served me over the last year, there is a threshold where lightweight becomes feature-poor, and minimalism turns out to be crudity.
In light of my pending transformation from employee to entrepreneur I decided to swallow my pride, overcome the not invented here-syndrome and take up the gracious offer of the good folks at Tumblr instead.
Time is going to be a rare resource in the next future, so I better not waste it on side shows.
Stuff that does not really fit into the microblogging format will find a new home in a separate full-blown blog soon, but more on this as it becomes imminent. This post is too long already anyway.
