SpaceX did it! Ladies and Gentlemen, for the first time in history, a private venture has launched an object into space (as in “orbit”).
The private space race is something I am excited to see happening in my lifetime, always with the notion I myself might get myself at least into low-earth orbit some day .. better start saving the dough.
